Steps
1. Measure around your front bumper to find out how much of the lower wall molding you need (I got 93 inches...a bit extra 95-96 bumpers may be a bit different).
2. Go to the Home Depot "Flooring" section (where they sell carpet, tiles, etc.) and look for some plastic lower wall molding. They should be all grouped together in a section of the aisle in rolls.
3. Ask someone to cut you however much you need.
4. Test mount it first...probably get someone to help you bc its a lot easier.
5. Put masking tape on the bumper to mark where you want the lip to line up.
6. Clean off the lower bumper area that you will be applying the lip to
7. Apply doublesided tape all around the area of the bumper that will be holding up the lip.
8. Slowly and carefully push the lip onto the doublesided tape from one side while someone helps you pull the plastic to keep the lip tight and without ripples.
9. When it's mounted on the bumper use some screws and drill the lip onto the bumper to further secure it. I used some black screws a friend had laying around, much less conspicuous looking on the black lip. I really recommend using the screws bc the double-sided tape doesn't work too well and will eventually lose its effectiveness.
10. Done...

it would have probably been better making it out of wood molding instead of the generic molding used in bathrooms, might last longer. that way crown molding can be used to make a spoiler and complete the "living room" look
wow what a coincidence, I was considering making my new eyelids from the same molding strip he used for his lip. True it is flexible and nice, but i asked around and home depot says the paint wont last on it and you'll have to repaint later
I have seen a few cars with that mod. It really is not that bad of an idea but I personally would rather go with the real thing. It does stop you from getting pissed off when you scrape your front though.
Since i lost all my money on the lawyer I spent to get my ticket off, I was going 2 buy a whole body kit b4 the incident but now this is gonna save me alot of money and im up 4 it. CT has the same exact spray paint for all types of cars, I found my green there too.
