ive done my searching

i was planning on getting some lowering springs that were between 1 - 2" but the more i read about drops the more i think that i need some new struts to go with them...i have a front strut bar (if that makes any difference) ...would the stock struts give out? and for those kind enough to answer, what do sports struts cost..thanks

Your stock struts are not designed to handle lowering springs. Get aftermarket performance struts.

its highly reccomended that you always get aftermarket struts if ur gonna be getting lowering springs... and its better if u just did the install both at the same time cuz installing these will take quite some time..... aftermarket struts will run you about 300 + bux.. good luck ..

What springs are you looking at? I see you have a drop measurement, but what brands? I have some KYBs on my car now, but they are blown in the rear with less than a year of being lowered. Get Tokicos and you wont look back.

Save yourself some money in the long run and get new struts at the same time.
