Unhappy oil change please help the lame

I know this sounds lame but... I just bought a 2004 4 cylinder camry and I can't find the oil filter. The parts store said there are two types. I looked all over that engine and I can't find it. there are two pans under it and I think the oil pan is the one on the passanger side but there is no other bolt on that side for a cartaridge type filter. Please help if you can, I have changed my own oil for the last 20 years and this is embarassing.

It maybe on the side close to firewall. Maybe need to get under the car to see it. Unless there is an oil cooler and it got relocated somewhere else. User manual should tell you where it is.
