light weight flywheels

I know some of your have gotten lighter flywheels on your camry. What are the advantages you personally have had, and disadvantages you have had? I have heard loss of torque, and have to rev higher to catch smoothly, and harder to start in 2nd when necessary. Basically what are your experiences. Thanks. All advice would be appreciated.

its all a matter of prespective. If you think being even to rev better and make the motor more responsive then its worth every penny... But when drag racing you have to spin the motor higher to get a better launch than usual...

I love my flywheel. If anything, I feel a nice increase in torque with it.

I have one. It works very well. I start in 2nd no problem and taking off is a little tricky for like the first day. Then it doesn't matter. The benefits outweigh the 1 or 2 disadvantages by a LOT. Acceleration in first in second is GREATLY improved though.
