tail light paint

I have a 92 camry LE and I wanted to paint the center piece the color of my car. I was wondering what kind of paint should I use? My local shop wasn't sure and I wanted to check. Anybody thats done this let me know. I'd appreciate it.

i painted my turn signals in the back clear red to match up my the rest of my tail lights
i used this clear red stain glass spray paint

Is there any way that you can take off the plastic piece that covers the lights on the back of a 94 cam???

i think you go to an auto place an they should beable to help you out..
