coolant color

i thought the conventional color of coolant was..... green

but i was looking at my engine bay and noticed it was red.... normal?

Dont use the green stuff. Use only toyota red coolant. Our cars can also drink prestone orange.

Red is GREAT for toyota cars. The new color is (yes PINK). Its suppose to be better than Toyota Red (double red life). THats what comes in Prius and Lexus now (i'm guessing avalon, camry's will get that in the next few years).

I'll change the green coolant every year. You can't see the rust with the red coolant which mean it'll be too later when you find out. It's only my 2 cent

My toyota mechanic friend told me the red toyota coolant has some sort of lubricant in there, which will help prolong the water pump life. For those newer toyota who used green one usually have their water pump die before 10000 miles.

well uh..my thing is like black x.x i need to get it flushed. as wel as my other liquids x.x ...

is there a certain intervals taht ur suppose to get ur fluids flushed? or just when it turns black?

if it is black i think you are two late.change it befor that
