3rd Brakelight Cover Question

Hello,

The 3rd brake light is out on my 96 camry and I'm unable to remove the cover to access the bulb.

Is there a special trick to remove the cover w/out breaking it?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

MyCamry

You mean the one behind your rear window?
Just pull up and towards your self, it should come off. It's not that hard, it just held by few clips or something. Try to play around with it if that won't work.
It's been a long time, I don't remember for sure.

You could also refer to your owners manual, i think it tells you how with some diagrams.

Get a screw driver, pry it under, pop it up as best you can. Then pretty much grab and pull. Don't worry about breaking it, you won't. It just takes so force from the angle you have. (That's also the only way to get to the speakers)
