Lowered My Car, Is this right? (56K Watch Out)

Hey guys, got my car lowered this week, have KYB GR2's and Drop Zone springs put on.

On thing though, the front is 1 inch higher then the rear. Is this right? Does anyone out there with drop zone springs have this problem? Those that do have drop zone mention what type of struts you use.

I don't think it's the springs, both front and rear springs were identical in height, but my rear drop almost 3 in!!! While the front only 1 in.

I'm thinking the problem is the spring seat that is from the stock front struts is higher then the spring seat the KYB makes to go with thier struts, making the front higher, but thats just my best guess.

All you help is greatly appreciated.

WIth the drop, see how the front isn't as low?

Only pic before drop, from angle, so a bit hard to tell. Notice how high the rear was and now how low it is, while the front only dropped about an inch.

A lot of springs come with different drops between the front and back, but usually it isn't that big. Most of the time (from what I have seen) it is only a half inch or so difference.

But yeah, I can see the difference. The front has some major lift compared. That doesn't seem right. Did you switch the springs by accident? Maybe put the back on the front?

I don't think he would of got the springs messed up, you can easily tell the difference between the front and rear springs.

nah that cant be it.

since the 1mz-fe weighs more, the springs are designed to carry more weight and give the same drop.

here i think he didn't get the drop he wanted because he has the 1mz-fe springs on a 5s-fe cam.

Thanks for the input.

I also thought they were put on backwards ( front on back, back on front), but the back seems less stiff, so if they were on the front the front would really be low I'm thinking, and the rear high.

Anyone have these springs with KYB GR2's? Wonder if I need a KYB spring seat

I put the kyb's on with a set of vogtland springs and the drop was even. I've actually got the vogt's for sale if anyones looking.
