Dickson, Ratko told me you could get lowering springs for a Gen 3 (I have a 95) Camry for cheap. I live in Brampton and I am in desperate need of some. What would happen if I kept my stock struts but I changed the springs, would it be okay?
Anyway, Dickson, Please contact me ASAP
Thanks
From what i understand, you CAN leave the struts. However, if you plan to install a body kit in the future you will most likely need struts so you dont scrape when going over curbs and speed bumps.
a very bumpy ride if u dont have nice struts... the car bounces too much because the stock struts let the springs absorb most of the shock instead of the struts...
hey i am also looking for some some cheap springs for my gen 3 camry, does anyone have a hook up? the cheapest i can find are about 140 shipped (i think a 1.5" drop)
hey i am looking to get lowering springs as well. (Gen3) what about coilovers. do they even make them for a G3 Camry. and does anyone know where i can get them in NS Canada. and can you get them with more then a 1.5inch drop. i am thinking like 2.5 or something like that. i am talking low. and will this create a camber problem if i drop it that low?

What brand is that? If they are sprint, you many not want to. I can get intrax for alitte more, and the ride is better
remember that no matter what kind of springs you get you will have a fender gap in the front.. i had to get the coilovers to kill the gap... its up to you on what you want... good luck...

hey those cheap springs are from a mail order company called ricky racer, 888.295.0345. they said they made colivers for gen 3 camrys but after i paid them and waited a month they said they were not able to make the coilovers so i got my money back. anyway they DO sell springs for the camry, i think they are intrax but i am not positive, if anyone finds out more or purchases from them, be sure to post a message for me, thanks

hey elegantcam. im just curious howd you kill the gap with springs? did you heat or cut them? i dont think the vis are bad at all...
As you can see my nick is elegantcam so I don't heat or cut my springs.
Oh if you say VIS are not bad, then that means you haven't sat in a car with real coilovers.
