Tranny fluid change

Should I drain and refill or should I change the filter too?

How hard is it to do? I'm done them in Chevy's and Ford's but not Toyota's.

Hmmm... Filter? I don't remember one the last time I ripped apart a tranny. But it doesn't seem overly need. Since dirty getting inside shouldn't be a major problem. Just drain and refill it. Any major dirt will get flushed out.

When was the last time you flushed it?

For drain and refill u just need to jack the car up, loosen the bolt at the bottom to drain and fill the oil in the hole where you take the stick out to check oil level.

cant be that much harder than a 91 camry, i just drained it, then pulled the pan off. the filter was held in by a few bolts.

you should probably change it, or at least clean the filter out with some parts cleaner, you also should clean out the gunk in the pan. its not hard and a filter and gasket is only like $25. took me about an hour to do.

I have never done it; bought the car with 77K on the clock and it has 155K right now.
