New engine

Can anyone give me a link for a place where I could buy a new engine?

Also, what engine would you recomend me?

Is the 5S-FE the only 4 cylinder engine from Toyota for the Gen 3 Camry?

If you're dead set on keeping your car with a messed up motor, I'd get a junkyard motor or at least upgrade to the V6.

I don't even think I'll be able to get a new motor, I don't have any cash at all, and my folks don't have that kind of money to give me.

Junkyards here in Puerto Rico aren't really Junkyards.

5SFE is the only bolt-on/drop-in engine for Gen 3 and Gen 4 Camrys. Anything else will require a full swap. JDM 4SFE and 3SGE engines (which were in their Gen 3 and 4 (including the A-Spec Gen 4 imported over there)) equivalents will drop in, but requiring ecu and software/wiring upgrades.

Or you can just rebuild your motor, instead of going through the hassle of trying to find/buy another motor
