door panel

I have a 99 Camry V6. I took off the driver side door panel a while ago and now I need to put it back on but I have a black metal piece that goes with the door. I can't remember where to put the piece on the door. Does anyone know where it goes.
The piece is about the 1/4 of the size of the door and has places for 3 screws or other similar piece.

hey I figured out where the piece goes. I just took the passenger door off partway to see. Thanks for the help anyways.
