I want to change my suspension system, just wondering which setup would be better.
Tokico strut + Eibach springs or Tokico strut + H&R springs. I wanted to buy TRD lower springs and strut, but I missed the groupbuy, but I wanted a more comfy ride then what TRD struts will provide.
The Tokico struts cost $432 US and Eibach pro-kit springs cost $214 US, H&R cost $224 US.. are they good price?

All the prices above seem to be average. Are those quotes from a local shop, or on the web?

If you go to Shox.com, last time they quote me for the Tokico struts was $399US plus shipping, check them out. Also something new to consider, I pickup a performance catalog from Canadian tire the other day and look like they can get you whatever you want so may be you can drop by and ask them about it.

I just got a quote from SpeedTech for Tokico Struts (sealed) - $690 CDN tax incl. and HR springs $440 tax incl. This is about the same price but with no shipping and duty hassles. Give them a call. If you want Eibachs he can get them.

BTW- This is for Gen4 but I also bought my Tokico cartridges and HR springs for my Gen3 from them last year.

Turbo Evolution (turboevo.com) has Tokico struts for the Gen4 Cam/Solara for $370 shipped to your door anywhere outside Cali. I say this because I believe Cali has to pay tax but shipping might be significantly cheaper so it might equal out. Jon.

This looks like a sweet deal.

Max Motorsports (I heard they are expensive and a-holes) at Dundas and Dixie in Mississauga quoted me for my 99 Solara:

Eibachs: once they said $400 (woman on phone) and once $450 (guy on phone), plus taxes on both.

Tokico's: (woman) $145 each plus tax, (guy) $148 each plus tax. (thats $667-680 tax in)

This coming from a place that is known to be expensive.
