Shhhhheeesh....i want your crap!

Anyway, its not that hard.
all you need is:
  • RCA cables
  • Power cable kit
  • time

All you do is run a cable from the battery to your amp, then a remote wire (from the deck, it tells the amp when to turn on), and then you ground the amp to your chassis. after that, it pretty much explains itself on howto hook up the subs.

I know i suck at explaining, but thats the best i can do.

Let me try...

Supplies:
-4 guage power wire; enough to get from the battery to where the amp is gonna be mounted.
-remote switch wire; enough to get from the deck to the amp
-8 guage ground wire; enough to get from the amp to ground source (ie. Seatbelt anchor bolt)
- RCA cables; enough to get from the deck to the amp
-12 guage speaker wire; enough to get from the subs to the amp
-misc terminals and connectors

Tools:
-screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, sockets, allen keys (if your amp uses those for the connections)

Expected time:
I would set aside a good 4 hrs if done correctly.

Instructions:
-before you start, as a safety precaution, remove the negative battery terminal and leave it for about 5 mins!
-remove all the necessary trim pcs from car where you'll be running the wires
-run the pwr wire from the battery>in-line fuse>amp
-run the remote switch wire from the deck to the amp
-run the RCA cables from the deck to the amp
-connect the amp to a ground
-wire up the box to the amp
-re-check all of connections
-re-connect the battery
-put in the fuse
-turn on the stereo
-look for signs of sparks, smoke and fire
-put the trim back together
-grab a beer. you deserve it

Now you can go charge your friends $100 for their installs

Good luck!

Most ppl drill a hole through the fire wall and run it under the "door sill" to the trunk. If you don't want to drill, be prepared to go through the fender etc... Also run your remote switch wire on the same side as the pwr wire.

As for the RCA cables, run those the same way as the power wire but from the deck along the passanger side door sill.

Depending on what year camry you have this could be different... When my dad and i installed my amp we were looking in the trunk under the carpet to see if there were and holes, etc. On the left side under a small piece of fiberboard or something there was a small tube (we have no idea what it is used for if anything) that looked like it had been cut. This ran directly under the car so if you do not want to drill any holes look for this in your trunk. We ran the battery wire through it just fine and then under the car through the chassis with some quick tie straps. If i remember correctly it took about 18 ft with some slack.

Got to Crutchfield's site, they have a nice PDF file that's all about stereo installs. Everyone should read that before attempting to install their own system.
