Ok, I got myself a new head unit, but I need the wiring diagram for the stock Camry stereo! Anyone here have the wiring for the stock 1994 Camry V6 LE (non-upgraded trim) head unit?

Thanks

Another question... I also purchased additional tweeters...how do you connect them? The head unit doesn't have a specific wire for tweeters, so how did you guys managed to install them?

Thanks

Hey Tony, I can photocopy the diagram in my Haynes for ya.

As for the tweeters, I suggest getting a crossover for them. You just connect the front speaker wires to the crossover and it branches them out to the tweeters (highs) and the speakers (mids).

I'm no audio guy, maybe the other guys can be of more help.

yup you'll need crossovers. most aftermarket 2-way speakers have matched tweeters built in. i disconnected my stock ones and the imaging is a lot better now.

your beat and easiest bet is to get a wiring harness at you local reputable car stereo shop for like $15. plug the harness into the Toyota plug, match up the colors to the aftermarket unit... done.

or if you want to go the hard route...

Go to Walmart or Cantire and buy a wiring harness...it's $5.99. They even have the wiring diagrams on package. Definitely don't splice the factory plug....
