Finally finished this intake system...everything fits well, nice and tight. No more blue for the engine bay, it's a bit riced out but I like it because it's mine and I did it myself.
Don't expect much performance if any...I heard there's books on how to maximize airflow to the engine and that little bit counts, even those little rubber ridges screw up air flow. And yes, I know it's a bit off center, I didn't have time to adjust it as it started raining.
Looks, real good. I like all the blue matching setup you have. My question is tis though. Where did you get yours at? Is it custom made, a conversion, or what?
All you need now is some Simple Green to get rid of all the grime in the engine bay
You don't have enough time to come out to meets, yet you manage to find time to maticulously (sp?) cut 50 little pcs of coloured hose  It still looks GHETTO man!
JK! It's very rice...err...meant nice! Suits you well

I'm coming down with carpel tunnel syndrome, no more grease in this elbow...

It was raining Sunday and I don't like getting my shiny hair wet...actually, I lost track of time and I didn't want to end up at Commerce Gate! Instead of loafing around after work watching TV, I gave that up and spend the time modding the car and doing work...I didn't even know Star Wars was coming out! TV is so evil.... BTW, it's meticulous!
Phi, I only do these mods for you and you NEVER approve!

And someone else:
Did you have to cut out some of the body to run the CAI down into the wheelwell? Also, where did you pick up the blue silicone sleeves?
This is totally custom, I basically measured up the whole intake system, bought the pipe, silicone reducer/extenders, hose clamps, tools and nipples...add lotsa labour and some rice, and you got an intake.
I did not have to cut the body, visit my website and you'll see the pics...the rubber elbow maintains it's diameter, so it's kinda like it's mandrel bent. You can buy the sleeves at some car stores. I got mine at Speed Bump in Mississauga...in exchange, they have my wallet (see Off Topic, I'm still mad). Just do a search in google, I'm sure you'll find a store that sells them.

I'm just trying to toughen you up man! It's a cruel world out there and you need ppl like me. No need to thank me. Just knowing that you can stand up to any haterism is rewarding enough
