i plan on eventually making a cai for my v6 99 le with some mandrel bent tubing and was wondering if i would need put nozzles on the pipe for vacuum lines and if i would have to put a plate on which to mount the maf sensor

Look at your stock intake pipe and see if theres any hoses that connect to it.

If there is hoses you'll need to get some brass fittings (hose barb to NPT) and a tap of the proper size for the fittings. Or you can weld on some small tubing onto your new intake pipe.

No you don't need a adapter for your MAF. The adapter is for AFMs.
