Weird Steering Problem

Sometimes after it rains, my car will not steer. Or it will go so far and stop and shutter the rest of the way. Takes more muscle than what I have. Kind of weird if ya ask me.

Sounds like the belt driving the pump is slipping when it rains. Check the belt and pulley on the pump.

the wheel wont move? or you steer and the car doesn't turn. if its the second case, then you could just be losing traction on your front wheels?

I have the same problem with mine, thats why I bought the car for so cheap. It happens when it rains or you go through big puddles. The wheel kicks back on you right? Its your belt. If you decide you want to fix this...get a new belt and clean your pulleys. *scrape the grooves* Whats happening is this, when you turn the wheel your making your power steering pump want to work harder, in turn it makes the pully harder to turn. If you have a loose or wet belt its gunna slip and cut your power steering off. Ive had this problem since I bought my Camry. Its happened to me mabey 3 times. To me...its a joke.
