I received some news that kinda killed a lot of my plans for my Cam late last week. I was planning on moving to Spain next summer and start working for my Grandfather and Uncle at their Mechanic Shop. But I got a call late last week that has changed a lot of things. They need me there by late Sept. early Nov. to start working because they need someone pretty badly. So out goes my plans for my 5SGTE, among a lot of other things I will not be buying much more for my Cam, after Nopi I will begin to change it back to stock and sell almost all the aftermarket stuff that I have put on it. If now of you have seen my Camry here's a link to my cardomain page: http://members.cardomain.com/rapeacivic
I am very saddened by this, my Camry is like my own flesh and blood to me. I love my car to death and do not want to get rid of it.

Camry's are not very popular in Europe, it will not be easy to find one ! Maybe it could be a good idea to just bring it along with you (no kitting), there are LOTS of shipping companies who do this so there is a lot of competition. I am sure you could do it for less than 1000 bucks. If you need any help for insurance / registration matters (here in Europe) just let me know. You could start by driving with your US registration number and European insurance ...

For $1,000 I would import my Camry to Spain. I know they're not very popular in Europe as I did not see one Camry the whole time I was in Spain last summer.
And thanks everyone for the support and offers, I will let you guys know after Nopi in Sept. when I start returning my car to stock.

Very sad, sorry to hear that But really, why go to Europe and drive a car thats a dime-a-dozen in America? Why not take advantage of the fact that you'll be living in frickin' Europe and drive a car that none of us here could ever drive, eh? And if you end up loving it just as much as you love your Camry, then you can import it back to the US and impress the shit out of all of us. I'm sure Toyota has Europe-only models. Hell, Ford Europe makes some sweet looking cars. Pick up a Focus RS!

Yes we've got some European Toyota's, like the "Avensis" (between Corolla and Camry) or the "Yaris" (small car).
If you are ever looking for a company to ship your car just remember one thing : there are huge differences of prices and you'll have to search a lot. While some will give you a quote at 1000 or even less others will be at more than 5000...
He man, I can list a million cars in Europe you can get for cheap now. SO be happy. Your going to get to see some insane cars. (Ford Escort Coswroth, Oples). And We'll all send you pics of our Cams
And whenever you come back, you can drive mine
Goodluck in Spain

Oh btw in fact it is financially more interesting to import a car from the US to Europe than the other way round seeing the current very low value of the US dollar (about 25% lower !!!) Maybe something to think about ...
Oh and BTw nico if you didn't know, Yaris is an echo.
And tho cams aren't popular, you should be able to find one shouldn't you, i mean didn't toyota have like 3 trillion yen in sales?
