what is the best way to clean the throttle body on a 99 camry? i've reading through some of the forums and see a lot of people talking about cleaning the tb and was curious to how they were doing it. i have 146k miles.

dont use carb cleaner, get throttle body spray made for fuel injected vehicles.

Gunk, STP and many other brands have sprays to clean the TB,
its self explanitory after that

i've cleaned my tb the other day ... what does it do ?? i have yet to feel any difference.. maybe is me who knows

It depends on the amount of buildup you have. After never being cleaned for 62k miles, I did feel quicker throttle response and a smoother feeling accelerator pedal. I went all the way into the intake manifold to deep clean it and the acis as well. Simple maintenance like this dosent add power, it just prevents loss.
