I just wanted to know, from someone with experience.... I want to take off the "CAMRY, V6 LE and Toyota" Logos off the back of my car. I have a rear like Ratko's or Jeffs. What do you use to fill in those holes, and did you have to get it repainted?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

im not sure about gen3s but for gen4s, there are no holes under the emblems.....if u hav gen4s, just use a blow dryer to melt some of the gooey adhesive off the back of the emblems and pull (direct the blow dryer at an angle, you dont wanna take any chances on messing with the paint). after pullin em off, either compound and wax or i hear there is this cream that will easier take off the adhesive.....for the toyota logo, there is an indentation so i didn't take mine off....if u take it off, you'll leave a round indentation mark....what year is ur car? hope u hav a gen4....

Not sure about the gen 3's man, but I know my Gen2 has little pegs under the "Toyota" and "Camry" badges... would have to bondo it up and repaint, and it's a big pain to do..

I popped off the trim level badge (the "LE" one), it didn't have any pegs.. as for my V6 badge, I'm not sure - it doesn't want to come off all that easily...

Hope this helps...

-K

Don't have holes on my "TOYOTA" or "V6 LE"

Just make sure don't take off the toyota sign because that'll have 2 holes behind it for sure.

i have a 1992 Camry LE. took off all the emblems on the back. they ALL had holes behind them. inthe pic you'll see the Toyota emblem holes in the middle and the "TOYOTA" and "LE" ones covered up already.

you should get this professionally done as imperfections will be very noticeable after painting. it won't be cheap. i'm guessing about $200 CAD ? (not sure exact price as my car was done altogether).

Well, sort of as a follow-up, I found out the hard way today that my V6 badge on my gen2 does indeed have pegs behind it. I pulled it halfway off, saw it, and just thought "screw it" and stuck it back on. Just an FYI for anyone else out there thinking about jerking a couple of badges off
