any ideas on speakers?

i hav two 12" kicker comp vrs in my trunk, w/ min. possible close box...does anyone hav any suggestions wut kinda speakers i should get? my friend is offering me a pair of cdt's....i tink it was something coaxials...6.5" w/ tweeters....should i get that or get separate tweeters?

Well.....it depends how much power you will be pushing to the speakers. I say don't go for quality components if you are not placing an additional amp to power them. Definately not worth the investment towards purchasing a set of nice components if they are underpowered....they will sound horrible and will be very damaging in the long run. If you are running them straight off the deck, go for a decent set of aftermarket coaxles...IMO.
