i was thinking of tinting my 92 camry 4 door from tint king. How much do you think it would cost me to get a 'good' tint job done so that it's 30% in the back and 45% in the front? I was getting quotes of $200, but i think that's the cheap stuff, anybody got any idea of how much the 'good stuff' is?

I got my car tinted at Speedtech for $175...light in the front and medium's in the rear. They used SolaraGuard tint I believe...lifetime warranty. Not a bad price at all.

Maybe it's because you didn't indicate which locale you were from. It doesn't matter if we tell it costs five bucks in Toronto if you're somewhere else.

Do what I do..just assume that everyone lives in Toronto if they don't have a location under their name...it may not hold true, but if someone's too lazy to put a city in their profile, it's their loss.

hey sorry, i am from (winni)peg and planning to get windows tinted at tint king, any suggestions on how much i should spend, what kind i should get etc.

Well this isn't going to help you much since I am in North Carolina....but as a perspective it costed me $150.00 (USD) to have my Solara tinted w/ Llumar tint...I think 30% for front/back/and rear windows.

Heh heh, that's cool...good to see that your profile has your city now.

I went to Winnipeg last year, don't think you have much options for tint places...doesn't seem like a happening place for the car scene. Tint King may be your best bet and the price isn't outrageous or anything. But check your yellow pages....

I just remember the big mall 15 minutes away from the airport and some festival going on downtown....

Apple Auto glass charges $150 Cdn
I don't know about the quality, but it shouldn't be bad..

one local shop charges 120 for the job, but they also have 10 yrs warranty or something..
