As you probably know, i have a shogun kit now. But my question is, since you have to drill holes for the rear license plate and the front bumper lights, what is the best way to drill holes for them? I'm sure my body shop can do it, but i wanna save a lil money if i can do it myself

thanks

Ok, there are not holes in the body kit, so i need to drill them for the license plate, and the bumper lenses, so the screws go in. My question is, what is the best way to do it? as in, not to ruin the fiberglass, or crack it or something? thats about the best way i can think of to ask the question

Get self setting fat licence plate screws for the licence plate.
On our old Sienna, I had to put the plates on the front bumper...no holes whatsoever...all Toyota had there was 2 indentations in the plastic bumper so you knew where to screw it in. In the glovebox, was 2 fat (about 1 cm diameter) self setting screws...I used them to screw the licence plate in...took a good amount of force and 15 minutes, but that plate aint going nowhere after...

Being it supposed to be a bumper...I don't think it would be THAT easy to crack...just be careful. Otherwise, a drill bit, 2 nuts, 2 bolts and 4 rubber washers would do the trick.
