I'd like to upgrade my front disc brakes. I am thinking of getting slotted rotors and maybe new high-performance pads. Anyone know of any good places online to get these from? Also, what size rotors do camry's use? Do rotors even have a size system in places like, say, rims or are they simply car-specific? Any help would be appreciated because, as you can guess, I don't know a lot about brakes.

Go to http://www.kvrperformance.com. That's where I got my Brembo cross drilled rotors with KVR Carbon pads.

Camry front discs are 8" - 9" for 4cyl vs V6 (I think). Rear discs are the same (drums on 4cyl obviously).

Thanx.

Just for anyone who is curious, I emailed them about pricing and this was the response:

"The rotors are $91.00 each for either cross drilled or gas slotted. If you
want both processes, there is an additional $40.00 per disc charged. The
Hawk pads are $144.00 per axle set. Prices are in US funds and the cost of
freight is extra. You can contact me at 800-636-0854 to place your order"

I was interested in getting a brake upgrade as well. I have a Gen 4 Camry.

What exactly do I need? Since i have a 4 cylinder, I have drums in the back, do I need to replace those?

What exactly do I need?

Thanks

Dan
