5th gen - getting behind power adapter

I have a 03 SE and I want to get behind the cig lighter/adapter. How do I go about this? Is it hard?

Also, does anyone know if there are any extra inputs for the Nav system?

no sure, but it's most likely held in place with clips.

Make sure the car is in Park for the AT, and the e-brake is set. Open the bottom of the center console (the big bin), and lift the trimpiece in front of it (silver-grey piece, usually... covers the space around the shifter/e-brake and contains the cupholders) up. Then you should be able to remove the lower console up front. Pull it up from the back (side closest to you) and slide it out. You'll need to move the car out of Park, if you have an AT, to do this. FYI, the wires for the cig lighter on mine were a pain in the ass to remove from the lighter itself.

To replace, just put the lower piece back in, put the car back in Park, and replace the trimpiece around the shifter/e-brake.
