Compustar.....definatly!

http://www.compustar.org

I have the 2000 a/s, with a quarter mile range, but i get almost a mile. I know you can add motion detectors (what you call radar, i'm assuming), you can also add alot of toys.....such as windows up and down, pain generators, you can hook it up to neons if you have them, blah blah blah. I highly reccomned it if you can afford it

I was considering the Compustar..I like the pager!

What type of perimiter sensor would you sudgest? I can get one on ebay for like $20.00...Or I could go with the "Invisibeam" for $60-$80

I would go with the actual compustar one. I don't know how much they cost by themselves, but they are around $100 USD installed.

I don't recall that they have motion detectors in the list of original accessories.

When I was in the market for an alarm...I was told by more than one shop (including 2 that sold Alpine alarms) to stay away. Apparently they had more cars come for faulty alarms w/ the Alpines than anything else.

The Compusars are nice. I haven't been able to play with them yet...but I have had a few people say good things about them.

I run a DEI (makers of Viper, Sidewinder..etc) just for the sole fact its well established and have a ton of accessories. I think I will go ahead and get the DEI pager as well...so when I'm working on the 7th floor I will at least have a change to run down....pocket knife in hand....lol.
