rear windshield replacement

hey all, i got a quote today to have my rear windshield replaced for 220 for everything. my rear defrost is dead, and this is a feature i frequently rely on.

is this a good price?

wow, before you change your rear window for just that, have you checked out what might be the origin of the problem ?

bad contact, loose wire, fuse ... ?

not all of the lines are broke... all but 5 lines are dead. plus the window itself is in pretty bad shape.

You can buy a small bottle of conductive paint to repair them. They sell it at most autoshops. It is the same stuff they use to make the original grids. You can use an ohm meter to verify the brakes and repairs. $5 vs $220, your choice. Just don't use the fat brush that comes with the bottle, unless you want to do the taping.
The stuff I have is called quik grid made by Loctite.
