VVTi question

does the 3sgte cylinder head have VVTi.

im pretty sure it doesnt but i just want to make sure

i belive there is more to a head swap than that. do a search on the site and you shall find crazy amounts of info on it like what years match up to every thing else what you need blah blah blah.

It wouldnt be VVTi if it is an older model GTE, assuming it does has something.

If it has anything, its TVIS, the predecesor to VVT and VVT-I.

The 3SGE has TVIS, but you cant swap heads with the FE, if thats what your planning on doing, the valve clearence is different. would work.
