dammit it's not a chip it's a resistor that makes the iat sensor think the car needs to warm up. they cost .10cents at radio shack.

They can work, but can also cause harm. They are just resistors like someone said. They are very cheap, and not really reliable. You can just buy one yourself for like 25 cents. Do not not mess with your timing with scams like these. Good for your for checking before you tried to buy one.
