hey man...a 3s-gte motor should slide right into your car. What type of engine is inside that car right now. Because block designs of the 5S-FE engine and the 3S-GTE motors are the same. You might want to find out what is needed for drivetrain parts like dual friction clutch ond light weight flywheel.

Sorry , But I dont mean to be a prick but please dont give wrong information about a swap you have no experience on...
Its not as easy as you regular B16A or B18C into a civic. Its something thats like black magic. A few tuners I've personnally talked to have tried and failed. Not everyone can do this swap. I just found another tuner thats actually competent to do this swap which makes 3 Tuners in the States that has the knowledge. 1) Eric Lapka [ elproto@aol.com ] 2) Carl Crawford [ cacrawfo@speed-source.net ] 3) The Owner of Epik Motorsports [ http://www.epikmotorsports.com ]...
If your planning on just running a 3S-GTE motor and using a 5S-FE 5speed manual then it would be considered amlost easy but it still requires some knowledge of what part from what car can you use to make it fit. If your planning on using a e153 3S-GTE tranny then it would require major fabrication, mixing of parts, and some custom linkage...
This swap isnt for your everyday tuner this requires alot of research and more research. But good luck on your project , if your planning on going thru with it ... One last thing, it alot of hardships trying to get the swap to work but the benifits are BIG!!!
