positive or grounded?

I need to purchase a harness and one person that was recommended to me asked me this question

"Positive or Grounded Switched? If you have no idea what I'm talking about check here: http://store.yahoo.com/bcssales/grounlowsids.html"

Can anyone help me on how to answer this question?

also do the low beams stay on when highs are activated?

A grounded switch just means that instead of breaking the circuit by blocking the hot wire, it breaks the circuit by blocking the ground. That will work fine. However if you use a grounded setup, you can't use a Lit switch.

I assume that they don't stay on. But one way of testing them.... turn them on and look
