aem intake

hey im thinking of getting an aem shortram intake for my 92 v6 camry (auto tran 4d) i keep looking at all the aem intakes and it says like 92-96 and thast what i look for and i see that theres a match for it for my car but then it says 1mz-fe for example in nopionline. so i was wondering will that fit in my 92 camry 3vz-fe engine they all looke the same on where the engine is and where the intake goes? so can i get it?

good question...and btw why doesnt anybody have that or the aem cold air i see everywhere...why does everybody just have a custom CAI???

try to do a search before asking a question like this- some people on this board get really pissy about it (because it has been covered before)

anyway, no, that intake will not work. AEM doesnt realize the 1mz engine was only 94-96. i think akimoto made 3vz cai's at one point... but theyd be really hard to find. if you are interested in constructing your own cold air intake, try doing a search for "DIY CAI". i made one out of pvc and 3" piping for my 3vz, and it is ghetto-fab
