You don't HAVE to replace any bulbs. However, most ppl, myself included, elected to change the dim yellow stock wedge bulbs to hyper whites. One more pcs of advice, take your time and dbl side the gauges as carefully and cleanly as you can. Many of the "firstimers" had to re-tape numerous times. Thank goodness for me, I learned from thier experience.
sweet i got em in and they're great, but another problem, before i removed the gauges and put on the white face gauge, the gas needle was at half, and after i started the car to take it for a test drive, the needle went to full, why is that?
Also, now the airbag light comes on, why does that happen?
Uh-oh! You prolly moved the gas needle during your installation and miscalibrated it. As for the airbag light, you're gonna have to reset that yourself (topic has been discussed previously. Use search) or get a mechanic to do it for you.
i don't get to check the board as often as i used to before. with the move to Calgary and new job it's taking up much of my time. but anyways... feel free to post the indiglo album wherever ya want ( ~Phi). i'm glad that it has been helpful to those that used it.
i'm planning to replace my rear speakers soon so i might do a guide to that as well since gettin at them can be such a chore. i don't have a garage anymore since i'm in an apartment now... but it'll get done on a nice summer's day (which may be awhile since it snowed yesterday *sigh*).
as for the indiglos. like they said... make sure you got some good quality adhesive as the gauges like to pop up. i found that not clipping the bottom part of the back bezel all the way puts less pressure on the bottom part of the gauge... preventing it from popping up in the middle and rubbing the needles.
as for the gas gauge and the airbag light. well... usually you can move around the gas and temp needles gently with no prob but i'm sure with enuff pressure you can mess up the calibration. and the airbag light can be reset. just do a search for it and you should find the steps that was posted before.
peace
