I'm with Nico on this one.....slightly low charge. As the refrigerant begins to flow thru the metering device it normally 'flashes' (Changes from liquid to vapor) and develops the low side pressure. With a slight low charge, the flash temperature (Evaporator) would be lower, thus creating a lower pressure, and possibly tripping out the low pressure safety switch. When the sytem shuts off, ambient temp. of the engine bay brings the refrigerant temp/pressure back up so the compressor starts again. Do you have walmart near you? They sell interdynamics brand refrigerant with sealer in it. I'm not a huge fan of the sealers, but there are times when you just cannot find/repair the leak. Good luck.
