Dim Lighting in Interior

Just wanted to ask all of you guys if you knew why I might have dim lights in the interior.

By dim, I mean that when I accelerate or when the bass from the subs hit when the volume is up, the clock and gauges seem to dim a bit and i can definately tell there is a change.

Do you think it is because i don't have enough power to the car? Battery or alternator is weak? Or any other problems? Thanks for you input guys

To totally take care of the problem, upgrade to a higher output alternator, upgrade your BIG 3, and get a capacitor.
