Unhappy Camry Brake Problems

Hi All!

I have a 96' Camry that recently started giving me some braking problems. The car has basically 2 things wrong:

1) the pedal feels spongy and goes all the way down if you keep pressure on it
2) It stalls when you apply the brakes (this seems to be worse when the car is fully warmed up and you're traveling at speed..i.e. taking a highway offramp.

So far I've changed the brake pads & shoes, installed a new master cylinder and bled the brakes. This had no effect at all.

I'm starting to suspect the brake booster, but it's not like it takes a lot of force to depress the pedal & when I disconnect the hose from the booster with the engine off it has vacuum in it so there doesn't seem to be a leak......

Anyone seen this before? THANKS!!!!!!

it might be the booster cause if it goes bad then your brakes will seem to work too much and feel really spongy.

i would also recomend ceramic pads instead of semi-metalics
