How hard was it to get those celi seats in your car? I would like to get somesort of new seats, sparco or something like that. But celi seats would also work. One other thing, where did you get them......junkyard?

Hard enough that I had to pay a special shop to custom weld adapter brackets for the bolts to line up to the stock holes. Thats about it, and swaping in the original seatbelt harnesses for the buckle to fit.

It would probably be easier for you to get aftermarket seats, since they have no mess of wires, padding, and springs underneat like OEM seats have, plus aftermarket seats have custom rails that they come with so probably a little drilling is all you're looking at.

I got the seats as a B-day gift from a friend who got them from a local Celica owner who chose to get Momo's for his car.

Yeah, there are four bolts holding the seats in. You have to pry off the small plastic trim pieces covering them, but they are easy to get out. Then just unplug the harness under the seat (for the seatbelt sensor) and you're all set.
