Arrow spark plug wires + spark plugs (also Aluminum lightweight Crank Pulley)

hey i was lookin through cardomain and came across this guy with a camry, he changed his spark plug wires and spark plugs, and i was wondering if what he says is true, and if its a good idea to do this:

Quote:
NGK 8.5mm Superconductor spark plug wires and NGK IRIDIUM spark plugs to get better throttle response, more power, a cleaner combustion, thus a longer-lasting engine.
His cardomain site

thanks!

i guess it could be true

i mean, better components never hurt... but if you are running everything else stock it probably will make no directly noticeable difference.

ya i probably wouldnt notice a difference but i mean IF it is better for the engine, and IF it will last longer then why not right?

Also what about this:

So to gain some HP's at the low end(underdrive), I installed a Unorthodox Aluminum lightweight Crank Pulley. With this upgrade, you get quicker response when I accelerate(A gain of 7-12 HP). Only thing was getting the right sized belts since Unorthodox didn't supply 'em.

7-12hp sounds kinda high......

Cool

Sure upgrading the plugs/wires would give you an icrease... If the ones you have are broken.
