Rack and Pinion

has anyone ever replaced this because im am currently in the process and need a little help. I don't know which position to take it out and i can't get it off the steering knuckle

Unbolt the steering rack, slide it foward (towards the engine), and remove it from the car.

The tie rod ends are bolted to the steering knuckle, so you need to unbolt them. To pop them loose you need a tie rod end puller.

i finally put my new steering rack in. Does anybody know the torque specs for the tie rod and the nut that comes right after the tie rod and is connected to the steering rack

Tie rod to spindle is 36 ft. lbs.

Not sure about the nut, couldn't find anything about it in my repair manual.

I would just tighten it up till its tight.
