I didn't write this....someone else did....
These used cable regulators, they are a very quiet design, but with a little age, they will usually snap, come out of the rollers or both, you can remove the panel, clip the cable midway, pull on the cable that allows the window to go up, now wrap the cable end around the nut holding the regulator ass'y to the door and tighten it down, this will
keep the window up till your part shows, but while the panel is off, look to see who makes your window motor, it will be Nippondenso or Aisan, maybe Mitsuba or something like that, reason is, you will need to know this to order JUST the regulator without the motor, much cheaper
this way, but expect to pay still close to $200 for the part.
