I am planning on buying Konig Verdict Wheels (16X7 5-100/114 40S) and Yokohama Avid V4 tires (P205/55R-16 89V) from http://www.discounttiredirect.com. The wheels are a $154 piece and the tires are $88 a piece.
Has anyone every had the Yokohama Avid V4 tires before? How is the tread wear and road handling? Also, how do you guys feel about Konig wheels? Does anyone know if I could get a better price somehwere else?

Thanks alot

Just wondering if you tried http://www.wheelmax.com . I just bought some 17" ADR's with tires for just under a grand (including shipping) but i got different sized tires than was on the package so it was more. About your tires i ordered a smaller rating on my tire cause i new it would last longer. My HR rated that i ordered will last between 30 and 40 thousand miles and the ZR that came with it would only last about 20 thousand, the salesman said. I say just research and see what your speed rating is and go from there.

Maybe i helped some.

Hey Slushanger, i have those tires that u want, except in 15"s. I love the handling and cornering. It makes the car feel like more than a family car. Also, they don't wear out as fast as some other tires and they definetly beat the stock ones. Its been about maybe a year and a half since my dad put them on the car. Now, all i need are some stylish new 15" rims, any ideas?

You might want to check these out.

They are similar and are only 125.99 at jegs.com. They are the MR7's.

At http://www.tires-n-parts.com they have the verdict wheels with 205/40VR16 Toyo Proxes FZ4 Tires. Are these tires any good? Has anyone ever used them? Also these tires are 205/40VR16 compared to P205/55R-16 on the Yokohama's. Does the second number affect the size of the profile on the tire? Thanks
