My ride

Hey guys,
Well I just made a website for my ride. It is a 90 Camry DX with a JDM 3s-fe and an auto trans. here's the url: http://ap0calypse.net/~sotl/camry.html. Check it out. Also, a strange story comes with the engine. I ordered the engine off of a company that works through ebay. They are called Anarchy MotorSports. Well, when I recieved the motor it didn't look anything like my motor that was already in it! This freaked my mechanic out and he decided he wouldn't be able to install it so I began looking for help elsewhere, including Talisman18 because I read that he had a JDM 3s-fe motor in his car. After consulting with him, I found out that the motor I now have is a JDM 3s-fe! I found a local Toyota Certified mechanic to swap the motors for me. A bit pricey but worth it. All he had to switch out was the valve cover (because the motor did not come with spark plug wires, and the ones needed for this cover were square where the normal ones are round on top. If anyone knows where I can get the square topped wires, please contact me) the distributor, Fuel Injection port, and power steering belt. This new motor is much better. Anyways, check out my ride and tell me how you think it is going so far. I have big plans for this car as I plan on keeping it until it dont run anymore.

The correct URL would be: http://ap0calypse.net/~sotl/camry.html.

Those hubcaps, BIG NO-NO.

Same with the little skulls.

EDIT: It would be so much better if you would actually take the pictures of the neon at night.

yeah, I wish my 88 LE had come with body colored handles and not the chrome shit.

Hell, my 89 DX has the damned chrome things too.

Thanks

Thanks for the input guys. Hubcaps are a result of being broke and they look better than they grey rims. The skulls were going to be scrapped at some time. As for the door handles they are kinda just to replace what are on there now. Although you can't see it, one of my door handles is busted up and the chrome were free so they are better than busted up peices. I've got much to do to the outside of the car, I havent really started on it. Next year, (whenever I get my excess money for college) I am either gonna do a few small things to the exterior such as tint windows and replace the screwed up body parts or I am gonna fix the body parts and get it painted which will in result make the door handles body colored again to take care of that problem. Either that or I'm gonna get some 16"s w/ low profile tires and drop it an inch. All depends on how much money I feel like I can let go of. Also I was in a hurry when I took these pics. Ill have night pics up in the next week hopefully. Ill post when I get them up. When finished, I plan for the car to be dark blue with 20% or lower tint on the windows, the whole wheel setup I talked about earlier, and suspension upgrades like rear swaybar, tower brace, and lowering springs. Also, a body kit would be nice....

There are a few threads about custom paiting your interior and what kind of paint to use. I can't remember any off the top of my head, but if you make a search I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
