s2000 antenna question

I bought an s2000 antenna today the install was pretty easy.

But i have one question.....
Whats stopping some punk ass kid from just unscrewing the antenna?

Am I missing something? is there a way to secure the antenna so that it cant be unscrewed?

I got my antenna at a honda dealership.

I dont have a picture of my car with the antenna on it.
I think it's pretty sharp looking.

The install is quite easy. I actually went and bought the parts during my lunch break and installed the antenna during lunch. If i can install it, pretty much anybody can

^ you bought it at a Honda dealership? How much did it cost you? Didn't have to buy any additional parts (mounting brackets, nuts/bolts, etc.)? Since you're located in Ontario, I'll assume what ever price you give me is in CDN $.

I'm gonna do a price compare and see what the price difference is b/w the conversion on the Camry sticky, and the conversion that you did. THX!

Here is the pricing for the conversion I did.
It's a little more than in the sticky but not that much.

s2000 antenna from honda dealership : 41.85 (tax inc.)

Celica antenna nut and sub antenna, 63.25 (tax inc.) from a toyota dealership.

So the conversion I did cost me about 7.50$ more than in the sticky. Which was worth it, considering the dealerships are right down the street from my work, and they had the parts that day.
