Would it be difficult to take out my gauges to scan and make my own. I was gonna buy some real ones, but due to me recent crash I can't afford 'em. Is there anything I need to be careful with?

most replacable gauges have lights on them because its not opaque and the light from the dash wont shine through them..

you can scan them and print them out but you'll need to cut out where the indicators/number would shine through. i built my own gauges and they were a pain in the a$$(look at my site and you'll see how they came out)

^^Well I was planning on doing some kind of lighting mod to light them up at night. Believe me making my own will be much easier than me even trying to get real ones, no matter how cheap they are. So might as well I try it.

took me 3 days and lots of test fitting to get it right and i'm still not satisfied.

at one point i thought i could sand down the gauges themselves but it was taking too long and i wasn't sure on the outcome
