Slight Tranny Problem

I have a 92 3Z with an automatic transmission,

sometimes when I really want the car to go it'll accelerate fine through 1st gear then when it hits second it just looses all power, the rpm's drop and i get embarrased, this seems to happen more often when the car is cold though.

Should i bring my car into a Tranny shop and get it loocked after?

the fluid levels are fine, the tranny filter is not blocked up or anything

it is a 10 year old car and automatic trannies don't last forever


Anybody got any ideas?

I think its time for you to get that thing checked out because that is a sign of a failing torque coverter.
