Hey guys,

I'm dropping my car on coilovers as soon as they get in, but I was concerned about tire wear...

I'm not going to be using a camber kit, but is there anything I can do to preserve my low profile tires?

Also, what exactly does a wheel alignment do?

Someone told me that I should just go somewhere and tell them to make sure I have even tire wear, is that basically what an alignment is?

Thanks for all the help

Dan

Treadwear is mainly controlled by camber. Make sure when they align your wheels, that they do a 4-wheel alignment and make sure the Toe-in and Toe-out are 0, and that there is as close to 0-degrees of camber as possible.

latez.

Correction: front wheel camber for most (if not all) cars should be -1 degree by default.
