Fender flares

My fender flares came in and they pretty much fit perfectly. I get to put 2" wider wheels all around!

Right now I am going to put a 2" spacer in the front and use my 18x7s to clear my new brakes (the reason why I got flares).
I can put 2.5" spacers in the rear if I wanted to but I will have to cut out about an inch of the fender and the rear structure just under the lip of the rear door. I am not sure I want to do this yet...
Anyways I will take some pictures and post them a little later.

I can just see some 20x9s rolling on my car

I haven't seen those pics before!
They are called bubble flares. But they give me the actual space underneath, race car style. I will not be molding them into the body lines. The flares do make the body 4" wider in the front and almost 6" wider in the rear. The front has the same shape but because of the curve of the fender, it makes it only 2" per side.

I'll take some pics tonight and post them tomorrow when I get back to work.

I don't think those ghetto flares do anything

regular flares are on ebay, i think he did custom so they would actually be functional

the ebay ones are just add on top of the body and brings it out, no actual use out of them

bmw "bmp racing" runs the same fender flares on its older bimmers. I couldn't do dtm style as the car would have to sit 4 inches lower and have wheel wells higher up, but that ain't the camry style.
I think this'll work, well it has to in order to get caliper clearance

Kevin's car has had these on his car for about a year. This was about a year ago when these photos were taken. He's got staggered wheels now and new interior. Should be ready to show off later this year.

Is this what you're planning to do woody?

that was the one i've been looking for.

the front fenders aren't bad at all but the rear fender should have been continued onto the door.
like this

compare the 2

yeah, I saw those pics. The flares I have are a little bigger and I am going to cover the door with them like that pic wickedtoyz posted so I can go with the wide rims in the future. For now I am going to use wheel spacers.
I might not mold them though, just form everything to fit nicely paint them to match , cut away the sheetmetal in the front and rear and pop rivet everything into place.
The rear door will be formed a little better because of the split...
