My Camry has the 'gold package' and the emblems on the grille and trunk lid are getting crummy looking. So I'd like to paint them. Are "Camry" and "LE" glued to the trunk lid ? It looks like the Toyota logo is held on by screws of some type, but the screws are headless.

Hi Chumley, I had the same "gold package" for my 95 Camry. I took my emblems off from the back. I did a pretty messy job though, that was cuz I didn't know what I was doing hehe!

The Toyota and LE sign were just stuck with glue, so just use hair dryer or something. And for the " C A M R Y " emblems, I just broke them off cuz there was no other way, it wasn't just stuck with glue, it was drilled into the body so I just broke them off, you can just fill the holes with some kind of fillers I guess, and spray matching paint over it i think.

I'm getting whole car painted so i didn't do the paint.

Although, I went to Canadian Tire to get the matching paint, bought the exact "same" color supposedly, cuz color of the package and color shown on package was same as my car, and guess what? It didn't work!!! argh! It was Dark brown instead of beige!!
