What is a brake light module?

My 95 camry with v6 is pulsing while coming to a stop - especially noticable under 15 mph. Though it feels similar to warped rotors that is not the problem. The reverse light also comes on my dash gearshift position indicator everytime I press on the brake pedal. A friend with the same problem told me his dealer replaced a brake light module in his trunk (94 model) and that solved the problem. Does anyone know where the module is on a 95. I can't find it - at least not in the trunk area. I cannot find any reference on this in my Haynes manual - please help.

It's in the trunk area but you have to pull the carpeted panel away from the driver's side of the trunk wall.

Make sure you use a door panel puller to get out the plugs out.

Anyways - on the left side of the trunk behind the panel is a yellow box connected to a wiring harness - that's your brake light control module!
